Tailwind Earrings

This pair brings sculptural movement into a wearable form, and is inspired by both the artist's mother's earrings as well as Constantin Brâncuși's sculpture Bird in Space. The flowing folds of high-polish sterling silver sweep into Brâncuși-esque tapered points, and the earrings are accented by a ribbon of warm 14K rose gold vermeil along each inner curve. Round, faceted smoky quartz studs anchor the design, lending earthy warmth to the fluid shape of birds pointing their beaks skyward. Hollow construction creates a lightweight feel without sacrificing dimension.
