About SYLV | See you, Love.

The name SYLV /Seal/v comes from "See you, love," and might could be another way of saying à bientôt. It isn’t goodbye; it’s continuity. It means: I see you. I know you, Darling. The name also carries a part of the Latin word for forest, sylvan

SYLV starts with the idea that jewelry, like sculpture, can hold a stillness that feels alive. Each piece explores form, balance, and movement with clean lines, suggesting the flow of water.

The first collection takes inspiration from the Texas landscapes I know and love. And while rooted in these places, I hope the aesthetic reaches beyond any one geography to create jewelry that feels both contemporary and timeless. The use of color is a central aspect of the collection. There are layered combinations like black and brown, or soft browns against warm rose gold, and these give the pieces a character unique to fine jewelry. A recurring motif is the color brown, a tone rarely used in fine jewelry, though it brings warmth and life to the sculptural designs. SYLV favors color not only for sparkle, but for depth and expression.

SYLV grew out of a lifelong love of sculpture. When I visit museums, I like to walk through sculpture gardens first. My father, an architect, taught me early how to think in three dimensions about the aesthetics of balance and beauty, which can be structural as much as expressive. So jewelry is an extension of my early learning in how to notice the world.

Each piece is designed in Texas and crafted in small batches in Louisiana with an emphasis on fine materials. My intention is to create jewelry that, like sculpture, feels alive in stillness.

SYLV gives back. The Marfa Collection is inspired by Texas landscapes and geography. SYLV donates ten percent of the Marfa Collection's net profits to indigenous led organizations in Texas.
